I learned so much about Web TV from Charlie, clearly the go-to expert, follow him! Oh, and thank you to Charlie and his team for producing the crazy opening of Newsletter Guru TV!!
I like your 3 selections, Charlie. Can you put 2 heads together for the 4th one? If so, I nominate Joe Polish and Dean Jackson. Their I Love Marketing podcasts (free at http://www.ilovemarketing.com) are phenomenal. They’ve both been using and teaching direct response marketing strategies for about 20 years so they qualify for sure!
Hey Charlie. My first show. Loved it. I would say that 4th one would be difficult. It is a toss up between Joe Polish, Billy Mayes, and Ryan Deiss. Hope that helps
Cheers,
AC
I would add Clayton Makepeace. His website, makepeacetotalpackacge.com was an invaluable resource for copywriters. He had guest writers contribute articles all the time. A new one nearly every day Mon-Fri. But then, for some strange reason, he took all of it down.
While I agree with you about Frank Kern, this needs to be said. The three things: “This is what I have/what it is…” is actually not Kern, but John Carlton, professed to be “the most ripped-off copywriter in the world”.
Kern is amazing, true, indeed! I listen to him every chance I get. His delivery is beyond compare. As evidenced here… http://www.inappropriatemarketing.com/?page_id=33
Thank you for the resources & information!
Michael McLean, Mike Capuzzi, John Carlton
Great episode thanks Charlie – clear, ‘quick’ specific content….and no ads!
Number 4 I reckon is out of Bill Glazer (who I heard interview you) and the ‘emerging’ Mike Capuzzi who’s really built a mega product with ‘copydoodles’ (see http://www.copydoodles.com)
We have a couple of fellas down here in Australia doing really interesting stuff including Pete Godfrey (www.petegodfrey.com)
PS – would love your Top 5 tips on promoting a conference (for non-profits). See http://www.australianfacilitationconference.com
