<p>As you can imagine, Tom a true marketer, got my attention with his headline. I had no idea where Tom was going with the testimonial but after hearing &#8220;Rip-Off&#8221;, I wasn&#8217;t sure he was going anywhere near where I had hoped.</p>
<p>Fortunately, Tom quickly turned it around by stating that he was the one feeling as though he ripped us off because of the awesome value we provided. Pretty cool!</p>
<p>Thanks to Tom, we have a testimonial with a compelling headline that will pull prospects in&#8230; potentially turning them into new clients, on the spot.</p>
<h2>My Turn: How To Make It EZ</h2>
<p>A few weeks later, it was my turn to give a testimonial. I had been asked by Glazer-Kennedy to talk about how the Dan Kennedy teachings had transformed my business. A full-blown production crew set up shop in our studio for two-hours to film it.</p>
<p><strong>Now here&#8217;s a great strategy to guarantee you get usable testimonials&#8230;</strong></p>
<p>Days before my interview I was sent a series of questions that were to be asked during the session. The questions were targeted on getting the core value and benefits I received from Kennedy out of my head and onto video.</p>
<p>For many, giving a testimonial is painful, awkward and full of pressure. Many times the client has no idea what to say and therefore rambles on leaving you with very little in value. Rather that pointing the camera at your client and instructing them to speak, try the talk show approach. Create a series of questions that uncovers the message that you want your client to reveal.</p>

<p><em>&#8220;What&#8217;s the best video camera to use for my video marketing program?&#8221;</em></p>
<h3><strong>Talk about choices&#8230;</strong></h3>
<p>The last time I checked there were over 82 million search results for video cameras on Google. You could spend a lifetime trying to decide which camera to buy. Let me save you the time and hassle&#8230;</p>
<p>In the next few emails, I&#8217;m going to layout the <strong>three best options</strong>:</p>
<ol>
<li>Starter &#8211; (Under $200)</li>
<li>Mid-Range &#8211; (Around $500 &#8211; $700)</li>
<li>High End &#8211; ($2,000+)</li>
</ol>
<h3><strong>Option 1 &#8211; Kodak Zi10 (Under $200)</strong></h3>
<p>Every entrepreneur should own this camera or the previous model &#8211; Kodak Zi8. Why? Because it can fit in your pocket, glove compartment, desk drawer, or purse. Therefore the camera will be there when that perfect, once in a lifetime testimonial presents itself.</p>
<p>You want a quality, hi-definition camera that you can grab in a moments notice for the quick guest interview or video blog post. I can tell you from experience, if the camera isn&#8217;t handy, the video won&#8217;t happen. There is a time and a place for more expensive, bulkier cameras&#8230; this isn&#8217;t it.</p>
<p>The Kodak Zi10 is great for filming interviews, blog type video and anything within an eight to ten foot radius.</p>
<p>There are two downsides to the Zi10&#8230;</p>
<p>1.) <strong>Poor Audio</strong><br />
Even if you invest $5,000 or more on a video camera, you&#8217;ll have the same issue. All video cameras have very poor built in mics. So don&#8217;t be fooled thinking you can spend a little more money and skip having to buy a separate mic. When filming with any camera, you&#8217;ll want to use an add on mic to grab quality audio. I can&#8217;t over-emphasize how important good audio is to getting results with your video!</p>
<p>2.) <strong>Low-Light Recording</strong><br />
If you plan on filming indoors or outside in low-light settings you&#8217;ll need added lighting or the quality of the video will suffer.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t let this stop you from investing in this camera. If you don&#8217;t own a quality microphone or don&#8217;t want to mess with lights, we have the perfect complement for the Kodak camera that eliminates both poor audio and lighting issues&#8230;</p>
<h3><strong>The Best Video Tool on the Planet!</strong></h3>
